MediaLaws is pleased to share the Call for Applications for the 9th edition of the Business & Human RightsSummer School, to be held in Naples, from 8 to 12 June 2026.

The programme is co-organised by the National Research Council (CNR), the Institute for Research on Innovation and Services for Development (IRISS), the University of Milan (Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law), Wageningen University & Research, the University of Naples “Federico II”, and the University of Naples “L’Orientale”. It is endorsed by the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Human Rights (CIDU).

The Summer School aims to provide participants with a solid and comprehensive understanding of the key challenges arising at the intersection of business activities and human rights. Particular emphasis is placed on the roles and responsibilities of States and corporations, with a specific focus on human rights–related legislation governing corporate conduct worldwide, as well as on access to effective remedies for victims of corporate-related human rights abuses.

The working language of the Summer School is English.

Applications must be submitted online by 1 May 2026 and must include the completed application form (available here) together with the applicant’s CV.

The course will be held in a hybrid format, both online and in person. A maximum of 40 participants will be admitted to attend in person. Participation fees are €650 for online attendance and €900 (regular rate) or €800 (student rate) for in-person participation.
