MediaLaws is pleased to share a new Call for Papers for the 2026 volume (vol. 19(34)) of the Yearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies (YARS).
YARS is a double peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Centre for Antitrust and Regulatory Studies at the University of Warsaw. This issue will focus on “The Digital Single Market and the Free Flow of Information.” The journal invites theoretical and empirical contributions on the law & economics of competition and regulation in the digital environment.
Relevant topics include:

Content circulation, moderation, and transparency online

The interplay between EU digital regulation – including the Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, European Media Freedom Act, and Artificial Intelligence Act – and competition law

Platform and gatekeeper obligations in digital markets

Consumer protection in digital services and online platforms

Emerging regulatory initiatives such as the Digital Fairness Act
The journal welcomes research articles and critical papers from academics and practitioners.
Papers must be submitted by 30 June 2026 via the YARS online submission system and will undergo double-blind peer review. Authors are encouraged to express their interest in advance by contacting the editorial team.
